He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth (Read); his brother William Sokil; and his nephew Robert Sokil. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hanson; his daughter Kimberly Lynn Sokil; and his grandsons, Shawn Russel Markowski and Kyle Patrick Markowski.
