It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geertruda Baukina Buit in Quesnel, British Columbia, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hendrik Jan Buit; and her son Jacob Ralph "Jack" Buit (Gina). She is survived by: her children, Dick (Kathy), Henrietta (Aurel) and Marilyn (Tim); and her granddaughter Lucy (Calvin). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Canadian Reformed Church (49379 Chilliwack Central Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2P6H4).
