As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Kalinczuk; her parents, Edith Popplewell and Gerald Popplewell; and her siblings, Brian Popplewell and Dianne Popplewell.

She is survived by: her daughter Kirstin Aquiline (Shaun) of Grand Forks, BC; her grandchildren, Jack and Carter; and her brothers, Judd Popplewell (Carolyn) of Revelstoke, BC and John Popplewell (Patti) of Vernon, BC..

Memorial donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Revelstoke District Humane Society.
