With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jose Dias of Revelstoke, British Columbia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jose left this world on May 8, 2026 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Jose may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his siblings, Emilia Amaral (Manuel) and Antonio Dias; and his great-nieces, Katie, Samantha, Isabella and Nicole.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (510 MacKenzie Ave, Revelstoke, BC V0E2S0). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (203 Nakusp Mica Creek Hwy, Revelstoke, BC V0E2S0). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (510 MacKenzie Ave, Revelstoke, BC V0E2S0).
