She is survived by: her husband Grant; her children, Emi and Colin; her parents, Armand Thompson and Margaret Thompson; her brother Neil Thompson (Braunwyn); her nieces, Abby and Claire; her aunts, Dianne and Marg Clair; her uncle Brian Burrows; her father-in-law Ken Nishi; her brother-in-law Brian Nishi (Meghan); her sibling's children, Ayami, Kiyomi and Ryo; and her sister-in-law Lori Kennedy (Jon).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Church (4451 Williams Rd, Richmond, BC V7E1J7).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph the Worker Youth Ministry.
