He was predeceased by: his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Chris (Sari), Nora (David) and Allison (Marius); his grandchildren, Elliot, Tatum, Tamar and Noam; his brother Ted (Anne); his nieces and nephews, Janice, Andrea, David, Mark, Matt and Betty (Bob); and his great-nephews, Matt and Mark.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howard's memory to Parkinson Society British Columbia or a medical education fund of your choice.
