It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Allen (Richmond, British Columbia), born in Mundare, Alberta, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Fedun and Anne Fedun (Sokalski); and her sisters, Angie Lawton, Louise Kirby and Jerry Shragge.

She is survived by : her husband Roderick Malcolm Allen; her children, Rick Allen (Sue) of Barrie, Ontario, Rhonda Allen (Brian Patton) of Invermere, BC, Robert Allen of Richmond, BC and Rene Allen (Shaun Wuschke) of Edmonton, Alberta.; her great grandchild Sarah Allen (Mitch Cooper); her sister Lily Fundytus (Larry); her brother-in-law Ken Lawton; and also, Jack, Grace, Tyler Allen (Diane), Liam, James, Kate (Matt Gervais) and Emma Wuschke.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
