He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Gauthier and Jeanne Gauthier; and his siblings, Yvette Boruck, Florence Curtis, Armand Gauthier, Rene Gauthier, Gerry Gauthier and Melvin Gauthier.

He is survived by : his siblings, Salonge Popp of Calgary, Edward Gauthier of Costa Rica, Eugene Gauthier of Australia, Robert Gauthier of Mexico and Phil Gauthier of Salmon Arm.
