He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Nancy (Jeff) and Raymond (Anne); and his grandchildren, Mckenna, Abby, Milo and Caleb.

“I will always remember the time we were having a BBQ and playing croquet at the Southwood house. We accidentally smashed a ceramic garden gnome and quickly hid the evidenc in the garden. Uncle Dennis probably searched high and low for that missing gnome. We joked about it for years among the cousins.
