He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Peter Beck and Kathrine Beck; his siblings, Norman, Raymond, Gordon and Bernice; his wife Anne Christine Olason of Winnipeg; his children, Wayne, Randy, Wendy and Kim Beck; his stepchildren, Patrick (Loie), Rae and Robertson; his grandchildren, Joel (Deidre), Lindsey Robertson of Calgary, Jessie (Amanda) and Jamie Adam (Courtney) of Revelstoke; his stepchildren, Steven, Megan and Samantha Beck; and his great grandchildren, Emalynne, Madeleine, Jonah, Carter and Ellery Adam of Revelstoke.
