He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruce Borthwick and Dorothy Borthwick; his brother Tom Borthwick (Carole); his wife Elisabeth Borthwick; his sons, Daniel (Clarissa), Richard (Danica) and James (Melanie); his grandchildren, Daya, Eli, Trevor, Vanessa, Nova, Kaelyn, Evan and Natalie; and his brother Doug (Alice). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
