He was predeceased by : his parents, David Ball and Naomi Ball; and his siblings, Ruth, May and Jack.

He is survived by : his wife Betty; his sons, Michael England (Jenney) and Tony England (Sarah); his granddaughters, Christina (Steve) and Sarah (Mitch); his nephew Stephen (Tammy); and his former life partner Nora.
