Dorothea Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothea Evans (Sidney, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Dorothea shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Dorothea farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Malcolm Evans; and her children, Heather and Robert. She is survived by: her brother Lyn (Audrey); her children, Malcolm (Cindy), Daniel (Shelly), Timothy (Machin) and Sheila (Mark); and her daughter-in-law Jennifer. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind a legacy of the importance of family, faith and charity and will also be remembered for her strong work ethic, dedication and resiliency.
