He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose McGovern and Owen McGovern (Pop). He is survived by: his wife Mary Doey of County Tyrone; his children, Sean (Danielle) and Carla (Steve Synnuck); and his grandchildren, Alicia, Sara (Tamim) and Hanna (Travis).
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Parish (10030 Third St, Sidney, BC V8L3B3).
