He was predeceased by : his sister Julie (Case Lindhout); and his brother-in-law Jack Pieterman. He is survived by : his family, Tera and Harold Dykstra; his uncle Doug'; his siblings, John (Jenny Boersema), Joe (Ena Boersema), Rennie Pieterman, Ralph (Lucille Boersema), Attie (Henry Sandink), Jack Boersema, Janice (Henk Van Dam), Bob (Nancy Boersema), Theresa (Talbot Bergsma), Marcia (Ron Vandenbos) and Nick Boersema; his sister-in-law Susan Koomans; and also, Melissa, Rebecca, James, Hannah and Ben.
