He was predeceased by : his son John (Joyce); his parents, Eliza and Willard; and his siblings, Gladys Phare, Vera Eckart, Raymond Routley, Albert Routley, Kenneth Routley and Roy Routley.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his sister Norma Enns; his granddaughter Cassidy Routley (Connor White); his daughter-in-law Stephanie MacDonald (Ernie MacDonald); and his niece Deb Phare (Blair Gourlay).

In lieu of flowers, a ministry that was close to Harold's heart is the Street Corners Ministry.
