He is survived by : his partner Mags Gingles; his children, Jason and Tracy Fehr (Dan); his grandsons, Justin (Nichole Wright) and Travis of Penticton; his great grandchild Jason Konst of Smithers; his daughter-in-law Christine Tanner; his grandchildren-in-law, Sarah, Ryan, Isaac, Aianna and Aaron of Lethbridge, Alberta.; and his sister Tina Konst (Mags Gingles) of Richmond.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a Memorial Service in the spring at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Smithers.

Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

“Dear Vera and Family, We are so sad to hear of Jos' passing. We have great memories of Jos from the time we were first on skis. Our parents, our kids and we always looked forward to our visits with your family. Jos had a quick wit, a contagious smile, was an entertaining host, and was an inspiration in living life to its fullest. Our parents recall the awesome ski trips to Austria with you two.
