We announce the death of Loretta Flint (Smithers, British Columbia), born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 86. Loretta will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Loretta will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Loretta will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Loretta’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Moore and Laura Moore. She is survived by: her children, Laurel Foerster (Glenn) and Nikki Kluss (Warren); and her stepchildren, Terry Flint, Victor Flint (Gen) and Kelly Flint (Hans). She is also survived by grandchildren, friends and other family members.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (1636 Princess St, Smithers, BC V0J2N0). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Telkwa Seniors Center (1388 Birch St, Telkwa, BC V0J2X0).
