Helen Huryn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Huryn (Sparwood, British Columbia), who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Ben Volpatti and Giusoppina Volpatti; and her brothers, Oscar (Ben), Lino (Guchy), Gino and Johnny.
She is survived by : her sons, John (Robin) of Sparwood and Ron of Lone Butte, BC; her grandchildren, Tara Spotter (Jeremy) of Sylvan Lake, AB, Matt Huryn (Sydney) of Sparwood, Jason Huryn (Randa) of Calgary, AB, Brady and Carson Huryn of Lone Butte, BC; her great grandchildren, Emily-Juene, Adalyn Spotter and Andi Huryn; her niece Nancy Valcourt; and her nephew Rick Volpatti.
Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Sparwood Healthcare Centre, the Elk Valley Hospital and everyone at Rocky Mountain Village who are doing all they can to keep residents safe and families connected during the pandemic.
