He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Gino Colonello and Gina Colonello; his brother Lino; his wife Trudy Paniec; his stepsons, Jason and Mark; his nieces and nephews, Kenna and Caleb Dyck; his grandson Riley; and also, Lino, Sharon Colonello, Monica Beranek, Joey, Carol Paniec, Kenny Paniec, Louis, Sharon Miles, Scott, Tracey Dyck, Bruna Paniec and Gail Pidgeon. He was also cherished by many cousins and extended family.

“Lilio est parti avant que je n'aie pu le voir une dernière fois a Gradisca (Italie ) village natal ou au Canada. .nous entretenions cependant des rapports réguliers.Gina ,la maman de Lilio est soeur de ma maman Elsa ,de Ginutti,Bruno Galdino les oncles de Lilio.Il a en Italie des cousins directs.Valerio,Elver,Cleto,Max.Warna,Silva ainsi que moi meme Nadir et mes Soeurs Ivonne et Mariarosa.nous penserons toujours a lui .sa maman Gina avec Lino son frère et Lilio avant leur départ au Canada ..”
