It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amy Yamabe (Summerland, British Columbia), who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Kiyoshi Yamabe and Shinako Yamabe; her brother Richard; her sister-in-law Marianna Yamabe; her niece Barbara Kuroda; her brother-in-law Frank Kuroda; and her great-nephew Brayden Kuroda.

She is survived by : her nephews, Ken Kuroda (Berva) of Penticton, Bob Yukawa (Soo) of Oregon, Steve Yukawa (Liane) of Seattle, Peter Yukawa (Corrie) of Seattle and Dr. David Yamabe of Lethbridge; and her niece Carol Breitkruetz of Montreal. She is also survived by many grandnephews and grandnieces and one great grandniece.
