With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barry Sinclair (Summerland, British Columbia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nora Sinclair and Archie Sinclair. He is survived by: his significant other Jean Cooke; his daughters, Jennifer Todd (Spencer) and Stephanie Sinclair (Jake Brown); his grandchildren, Isabel Todd, Emmett and Isaac Brown; his brother Duncan Sinclair (Laura MacFeeters); his nieces, Lindsay (Adam), Caitlin and Brooke (David); and the mother of his children Alison Sinclair.

“I’m sad to hear about this. I met Barry in 1969 when we attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, when we both drove hot rodded Volkswagen Beetles. We became good friends and spent many hours together in the mountains hiking, scrambling, backpacking, fishing, cross country skiing and cycling. In 1974 we drove up to the Yukon together, where I had the pleasure of meeting Nora, Archie and Duncan. Barry and I backpacked the Chilkoot Trail at this time.. RIP Old Friend.”
