We bid farewell to Fred Ericson of Summerland, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2025 at the age of 88. Fred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Ericson and Anna Ericson of Minnedosa, Manitoba.; and his sisters, Gwen, Doris and Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Marj; his children, Neil (Denise) of Kelowna, BC, Shelley Leys (Leon) of Melfort, SK, Brent (Becky) of Brandon, MB and Dave (Kim) of Regina, SK; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Logan Leys, Amy, Cole Ericson, Abby, Annika and Kasen Ericson; his sister Edith Zimmer (Dennis) of Winnipeg, MB; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Hooper (Gary) of Selkirk, MB and Gordon Beddome of Douglas, MB. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Summerland Baptist Church (10318 Elliott St, Summerland, BC V0H1Z0).
