It is with sadness that the passing of Jack Arnold Rutherford (Summerland, British Columbia) is shared. Jack, born on March 21, 1943, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Jack will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Jack by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Jack is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Jack’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Rutherford and Peggy Rutherford; and his sister Sylvia of Terrace, BC.. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim of Auckland and Eva of Auckland; and his sister Elaine (Larry) of Edmonton, AB.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Providence Funeral Homes Summerland Chapel (13205 Rosedale Avenue V0H1Z5).
