She was predeceased by: her brother Jose Duarte; her siblings-in-law, Joaquin Sardinha and Maria Rosario Ladeira; her nephew Jose Sardinha; and her godson Joaquim Nunes.

She is survived by: her husband Jose B. Ladeira; her son Jose A. Ladeira (Catherine Kayden); her grandsons, Miguel and Liam Ladeira; her daughter Lucy Ladeira; her siblings, Herminia Sardinha, Irene (Fernando Silvestre) and Agostinho Duarte (Ceu); and her brother-in-law Antonio Ladeira.

Burial will follow at the Canyon View Cemetery.
