It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Battista Colasacco of Surrey, British Columbia, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonio Colasacco and Maria Carmela Colasacco (DiSano); his son Sandro Colasacco; his parents-in-law, Sante and Bettina Fontecchio (Spera); his siblings, Gildo Alberto Colasacco (Maria), Olga Secondina Spera (Teodoro) and Mario Colasacco (Maria); his nieces and nephews, Tina and Nino; his siblings, Palmina Caroso (Antonio) and Guido Colasacco; his sister-in-law Flora Colasacco (Giannunzio); and also Don Dybyk.

He is survived by : his wife Elsa Colasacco (Fontecchio); his daughter Tina of Surrey; his daughter-in-law Linda Colasacco (Downs) of Surrey; his grandchildren, Gregory, Lia and Alexa; his brother Gregorio Colasacco (Connecticut) of Wethersfield; and his sisters-in-law, Adria Maria Colasacco (Santini) of Wethersfield, Connecticut and Dema Dybyk (Fontecchio) of St. Catharines, Ontario..

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (2250 150 St, Surrey, BC V4A9J3). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery (15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC V3Z9V1).
