He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Cherak and Arbella Cherak (Zenovia). He is survived by: his significant other Zenovia Gorchynski; his sons, Stan (Kristi) and Oliver (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Ethan and Lennox; his sister Barb Syrnyk (Peter); and his niece Jennifer. He is also survived by numerous cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
