We bid farewell to Brian Edward Kavanagh (Surrey, British Columbia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 26, 2025 at the age of 74. Brian touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anne Kavanagh and George Kavanagh; his wife Kathryn; his stepsons, Luke (Faye) and Adam (Kim); his grandchildren, Isabella, Arianna, Eve and Maya; and his siblings, Patricia (Gerry), John, Carolyn (Jacobus) and Bas.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arbor Chapel, Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7).

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Union Gospel Mission.

We shared of love of golf and sports - he was the basketballer and I was a hockey guy....but it worked. He was a great mentor for me, gave me lots of opportunity to grow and always supported me.
