She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Somjee; her siblings, Flordeliza, Lolita, Eulogio, Francisco and Esteban; and her parents, Esteban Sr. Mendoza and Joaquina Mendoza.

She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Valough (Robb); her grandchildren, Katherine Gismondi (Adamo), Michael Valough (Ellie) and Mark Valough; her great grandchildren, Noah, Niko, Nate and Stella; and her brother Jess Mendoza (Luz). She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
