She is survived by: her husband Gordon Wallace MacNeil; her sister Anne Arnold; her children, Joanne MacNeil and Brian MacNeil; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Owen, Norah, Maggie, Hannah and Audrey.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the oncology department at BC Children's Hospital - a place that has been very important to the MacNeil and Dumansky families, as well as so many others.
