Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his partner Barry Hebert; his parents, Gerard Bessette and Elsie Bessette; his brother Rick (Janice); and his nephew Tom.
He is survived by: his siblings, Valerie Beemish, Joanne Nickson (Allen) and Michael Bessette (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Avalon Surrey Funeral Home (13288 108 Ave, Surrey, BC V3T2J6).
