He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy, Ella and Harvey; and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his wife Alma; his children, Lori (Dave), Kelly (Guy) and Marc; his grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph (Miranda), Jonathan (Monica), Daniel (Lya), Christopher and Shari; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Austin, Audrey and Madeline; and his siblings-in-law, Doreen of The Pas and Herb (Ena) of Winnipeg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers but, if so desired, donations may be made in George's memory to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Surrey through the church office.
