He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Spate; his son Jason Spate (Jay); his daughter-in-law Cynthia Voon of Edmonton; his daughter Stephanie Chandok; his son-in-law Jean Chandok; and his grandson Austin Chandok of Vancouver.
