She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Berend (Ben); her son Jan (John); her parents, Jan Piers and Elizabeth Piers; her siblings, Klaas and Anna (Folkerts); her grandson Morgan Bolt; and her children, John (Ruth Bolt), Clarence Bolt (Mona Brash), Ann Vander Bijl, Elizabeth (Fred Ensing) and Marvin (Linda Bolt). She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
