With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Keith Merle Carmichael (Surrey, British Columbia), born in Killam, Alberta, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Carmichael and Edith Carmichael; his daughter Michelle Carmichael; and his siblings, Marilyn Haugen and Dale Carmichael.
He is survived by: his wife Bev Walker; his children, Dena Urquhart (Ron), Darren Carmichael (Allison), Karen Peare (David) and Allan Carmichael; his sisters, Marlene, Carol and June; and his pet Max. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Valley View Memorial Gardens (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7). A reception will be held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (14660 72nd Ave, Surrey, BC V3S2E7).
