We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2020, at the age of 83, Laurette Doherty (Surrey, British Columbia), born in Lac la Biche, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claira Lamoureux and Eugene Lamoureux; her daughters, Dale Swank and Mary Latimer; her siblings, Marie Lester, Annette Nikkel, Cecile Ficher and Jim Lamoureux; and her grandson Doug Wagner.
She is survived by: her former husband Arnold Latimer; her spouse Glen Doherty; her children, Len Latimer, Fay Ducolon (Glen) and Patricia Peters; her siblings, Ray Lamoureux (Judy), Walter Lamoureux (Hyumei) and Agnes Dilworth (Brian); and her brother-in-law Fred Fischer. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, if desired donations may be made in memory of Laurette Doherty to the Kidney Foundation, Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
