It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Harbarenko (Surrey, British Columbia), who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Metro Filipchuk and Mary Filipchuk; her husband Harry Harbarenko; her daughter Vivian Briscoe; her grandson Brandon Briscoe; and her siblings, Bill, George, Mike, Johnny Filipchuk and Frozina Filipchuk.
She is survived by: her daughter Harriette Chorny; her son-in-law Alex Chorny; her grandchildren, Christopher Chorny (Karen), Cassandra Miller (Alan), Curtis Chorny, Shelley Briscoe-McAulay, Kim Briscoe (Colleen) and Randall Briscoe; her great grandchildren, Carlyn Chorny (Johnathan), Teigan Chorny, Harrison Lingard, Zealandia Smith (Christopher), Michelle McAulay, Billy McAulay, Heather McAulay, Jaycee Wright (Stephen) and Nicholas Briscoe; and her great great grandchildren, Alison Smith and Emerson Vaughan.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held on August 13, 2020.
