He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Robert Sparks, Angie Mavety (Bret), Candace Mavety and Clinton Mavety of Burnaby; and his brother Dave Sparks of Surrey. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
