He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Betty Johnson; his former wife Ruby; his spouse Tracy; and his siblings, Leonard, Richard, Allana and Andrew.

He is survived by: his brother Robert (Marilyn); his sister-in-law Angie; his children, Rachel (Lance), Tom (Kim) and Meaghan (Shawn); and his stepson Josh. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many other extended family.
