Roger Hisao Oura Obituary
We announce the death of Roger Hisao Oura (Surrey, British Columbia), who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tatsuo and Shizue. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Karen (Tyler) and Daniel (Sara); his grandchildren, Owen, Naomi and Sam; his siblings, Aki and Mary; and his niece Kristine.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre (14831 28 Ave, Surrey, BC V4P1P3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Nikkei Place Foundation.
