She was predeceased by: her parents, David and Belle; and her brothers, Lawson (Anne), Gary and Earl.
She is survived by: her children, John (Cathy), Patty Smith (Gordie), Frank (Leanne) and Bob; her grandchildren, Shara (Selcuk), Kayla (Branden), Dallas (Nikita), Carlie (Steven) and Brett (Krista); and her great grandchildren, Senol and Aliye.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Irene's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, MS Society or BC Cancer Agency.
