The memory of Sheila Rathler (Surrey, British Columbia), who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Rathler; her son Dale Rathler; her brother David Temple; and her parents, Daisy Temple and John Temple.
She is survived by: her children, Lyn Gallie (Phil), David Rathler (Sharla), Sharon Rathler-Cash (Ron) and Shelley Pocrnich (Steve); her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris), Nick (Christina), Emily (Peter), Natalie, Ashley, Katie, Kylee of Ben, DJ and Maya; and her great grandchildren, Lucy, James, Charles, Max, Phillip, Elliot, Evelyn and Amelia.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Avalon Surrey Funeral Home (13288 108 Ave, Surrey, BC V3T2J6).
In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that a donation be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. or the Union Gospel Mission.
