He was predeceased by: his parents, Meenachee Pillay and Kisten Shunmoogam Pillay; and his brothers, Krish and Parmas Pillay. He is survived by: his siblings, Praga Pillay, Uga Nichols (Pillay) and Nat Moodley; his children, Simon, Mark and Soraya Pillay; and his grandchildren, Stephen and Katherine Pillay. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Home (14831 28 Ave, Surrey, BC V4P1P3). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Cemetery (15694 32 Ave, Surrey, BC V3Z9V1). A reception will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre (28 Ave, Surrey, BC).
