She was predeceased by: her parents, Janice and Andrew; and her brothers, David and Patrick. She is survived by: her children, Heather, Megan and Jason; and her grandchildren, Henry, Connor and Chloe.
Much of her time not at home or the garden was volunteered to various churches, in such places as kitchens feeding the homeless, or in the choir, performing for charity concerts.
