She was predeceased by : her granddaughter Alexa Renée Middelaer; and her parents, Holland and Baarn. She is survived by : her husband John Middelaer; her children, Jon Middelaer, Daphne Johanson (Guy), Melissa Redlich (Bernie) and Michael Middelaer (Laurel); and her grandchildren, Jenna Redlich, Jessica Redlich and Christian Middelaer.
