She is survived by: her children, Maria, Myra (Roger) and Tom; her grandchildren, Santiago Jr. (Deanna), Sebastián, Chanelle and Olivia; her great grandchildren, Priscilla, Alexis, Santiago III and Johnathon; and her stepgrandchildren, Steven, Stephanie and Jessica.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Crohn's and Colitis Canada, BC Children's Hospital Foundation or the BC Cancer Foundation.
