With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred Alexander Guenkel (Vancouver, British Columbia), who passed away on June 19, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernst Günkel and Kathe Günkel; his wife Shizuko; his sister Elke Schwartz of Aachen Germany; his daughter Julie; his daughter-in-law Bianca Garbutt of Vancouver; his son Patrick; and his grandchildren, Ronan and Sebastian of Paris France.
