He was predeceased by: his parents, Triantafillos Groumoutis and Athanasia Petropoulos; and his siblings, Constantina, Antonios, Apostolos and George.
He is survived by: his wife Athanassia; his children, Christopher (Krisztina), Triantafillos (Sophia), Eleni, Constantina and Ioannis (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Marcus, Lucas, Katerina and Hendrik. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Society of BC.
