She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Merola and Assunta Merola; and her siblings, Raffaele, Sabato, Giuseppe and Giuseppina.
She is survived by: her husband Antonio; her sons, Gerardo and Angelo (Tina); her grandchildren, Dante and Chiara; and her sister Antonietta. She is also survived by nieces, nephews as well as other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
