He is survived by: his wife Mandica Podnar; his children, Mike Podnar (Suzie Finley), Ben Podnar and Mary-Anne Toth (Kaleb Toth); his grandchildren, Milan Podnar, Devon Podnar, Macey Podnar, Mate Podnar, Ryder Desjarlais, Deo Toth, Lillianna Toth and Annabella Toth; his sister Francika Pigac; and his sister-in-law Dragica Podnar. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Parish (3105 E 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V5M1B5). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park (4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC V5J1A4).
